I’m a product designer based in San Francisco with a background in banking, venture capital, and product strategy. My career thus far has been a series of iterations, ultimately leading me to my happy path (just like the design process!).
Why design?
After a few years of working adjacent to the tech industry, I was itching to be a part of the actual product development process and joined Robinhood as a product strategy manager—but this didn’t feel quite right either. From my prior roles, I knew that I enjoyed advocating for the customer, being in the weeds, and thinking strategically. But I also wanted to move away from a purely analytical role and engage my creative side. Product design was the perfect melding of my interests.
What informs my work
As a left-handed, Asian-American woman with ADHD, I grew up aware that products and experiences weren’t designed with me in mind. As I started traveling and reading more about other people’s experiences that were different from my own, I became passionate about the importance of advocating for all users to create more accessible and equitable products.
I love reading and talking about books on the internet.
I'm learning the ropes of street photography.
I'm always planning a trip! I recently backpacked across Asia.
